How many machine cleans has my GIGA X3/ GIGA X8 had so far?

There are a couple of menus on your GIGA X3/GIGA X8 machine which you can view to see how many machine cleans your machine has received.

A machine clean is required to keep all of the internal pipe work and brewer unit clear of coffee grind build up and ensuring the coffee is able to flow correctly through the machine. This should be completed every 180 drinks produced.

How to check the current Machine Clean status:
1/ Press the “P” button in the top left corner from the main screen.
2/ This is the program menu, and by default the first option is your "Maintenance Status" screen which should be blue. Select this menu by pressing the screen.
3/ The option you require next is called “Clean”. This your machine clean option. You might need to swipe the screen to the left to select the correct option. As by default the machine will put the "Clean Milk System" in the front of the queue. By swiping left once should land you on the machine clean option.
4a/ If the “Clean“ box is completely red, then your machine is overdue a machine clean. Complete a machine clean now.
4b/ If your “Clean” box is NOT red and the red bar is progressing along, then this is fine. Complete a machine clean when the bar is fully filled or just before.

To check if your machine is being cleaned on average every 180 drinks, divide the amount of drinks produced by the amount of machine cleans it has completed.
If your machine has completed a machine clean on average every 180 drinks or less, than your machine is being cleaned regularly enough.
However, if your machine clean average is over 180 drinks per clean you could be experiencing poor tasting coffee, machine reliability issues that is effecting the machine performance and will also be voiding your machines warranty.
