# How to change my Culligan CO2 bottle

## A quick quide on how to change your CO2 bottles for Culligan taps

**tep-by-step guide.**

**1. Turn off the gas:** Rotate the regulator knob anti-clockwise (to the left) to ensure no more gas is flowing.

**2. Remove the old cylinder:** Hold the regulator with one hand and grip the empty cylinder with the other. Twist the cylinder anti-clockwise (to the left) to unscrew it from the regulator. A brief hiss of gas is normal but should stop once it's disconnected.

**3. Install the new cylinder:** Take the new cylinder and screw it into the regulator by hand, turning clockwise.

**4. Tighten the connection:** Be careful not to overtighten but ensure the connection is snug.

**5. Check for leaks:** Apply soapy water to the connection point. If you see any bubbles forming, there's a leak; turn the regulator off and tighten the connection further.

**6. Turn on the gas:** Once the connection is secure and leak-free, turn the regulator on by rotating the knob clockwise to increase pressure, set to 3.5 bar.
