Around every three water filter changes your JURA machine will need a descale, which is an essential maintenance process
Your JURA machine warranty doesn't cover limescale damage, which will occur if you don't closely follow your machine's maintenance schedule.
The machine will prompt you when a descale is required in your maintenance menu. A red bar will advance and when it reaches the end, the icon will turn red at which time you must undertake the maintenance activity.
Your descale will take around 45 minutes and the process can't be interrupted - so remember to start at a time that won't be too inconvenient for users.
Please note on a JX10 the user interface is slightly different as you have a touch screen, rather than buttons. Access the maintenance menu by pressing the 'P' button and go to the blue maintenance menu. Scroll along to descale
