Jura - Error 3

Error 3 indicated a fault with the system heating, the Steam Thermoblock or Temperature Sensor

The fault is sometimes a glitch with a sensor that can be resolved, predominantly however is due to a build up on scale on the Steam Thermoblock. 
  • Perform a hard reset: Power down the machine and completely disconnect it from the wall socket. Wait for five minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. This simple reboot is often enough to reset the brewing cycle and clear error codes caused by temporary jams.
  • Descale the system: Mineral buildup can clog the thermoblock up with scale preventing it from reaching the required temperature. Run a system descale to help clear the blockage.
