Machine is asking me to insert drip tray when it is inserted?
The plastic drip tray features a vertical fin that extends approximately 10mm from the left side of the flat area where your grinds box is located. This fin is designed to slide into the machine on the drip tray and activate a micro-switch. This fin can snap off if the drip tray is forced into the machine.
If the fin has snapped off your drip tray then your machine will not work.

Please note, this is not included within your warranty and the replacement part will be chargeable.
If your machine has its fin in place but it is still asking you to 'insert the drip tray' then you might have a broken microswitch. An engineer must attend to replace your switch.
