The temperature of the hot water is too low

The hot water is not coming out sufficiently hot from my JURA coffee machine

The optimal temperature for the hot water is between 82 and 90 degrees, while coffee should be dispensed between 82 and 89 degrees. It's important to avoid hotter temperatures as it can negatively impact the taste of the coffee. Additionally, milk is typically dispensed at a temperature of around 50-55 degrees.

To address the issue of insufficiently hot water, we recommend the following steps:

- Perform a descaling procedure. For a Giga X8/X3 machine, dissolve 4 large descale tablets in 800ml of warm water. For JX8/JX10 or WE8 machines, use 3 tablets dissolved in 500ml of warm water. Please refer to the cleaning spec sheet for your machine and for more descale tablets contact orders@amamus.coffee.

- Make sure that the temperature of the hot water is set to high for all product settings, except for Americano, which should be set to normal temperature.

Ensure that you measure the temperature of the running water, rather than in a cup, as this can cause the water temperature to cool down.
