The temperature of the hot water is too low

The hot water is not coming out sufficiently hot from my JURA coffee machine

The optimal temperature for the hot water is between 82 and 90 degrees, while coffee should be dispensed between 82 and 89 degrees. It's important to avoid hotter temperatures as it can negatively impact the taste of the coffee. Additionally, milk is typically dispensed at a temperature of around 50-55 degrees.

How to adjust your drinks milk temperature.

You have the option to adjust the milk temperature in the product settings for each beverage, ranging from 1 to 10. However, during the machine setup process, we typically set this temperature no higher than 6. This is because adjusting it too high will restrict the milk flow into the frother unit excessively, leading to spitting issues.

Check your product settings for each drink and ensure each one is set no higher than 6.

These settings can be found in the "Orange" menu after pressing the P button.

TIP: Use the portion of milk product to test your settings to save wasting coffee

To address the issue of insufficiently hot water, we recommend the following steps:

- Perform a descaling procedure. For a Giga X8/X3 machine, dissolve 4 large descale tablets in 800ml of warm water. For JX8/JX10 or WE8 machines, use 3 tablets dissolved in 500ml of warm water. Ensure that you measure the temperature of the running water, rather than in a cup, as this can cause the water temperature to cool down.
