How to resolve your blue flashing light on your ZipTap

This means that the water is chilling down, but the chilled water is not yet at the set temperature, or its in sleep mode. You will still be able to dispense water, it simply means it’s not at the temperature set. 


To wake up the HydroTap from sleep mode, simply dispense a very small amount of water and wait for the blue light to be constantly on blue to be back to the set temperature.

Once the water has chilled to the correct temperature you will see a solid blue light illuminated on the tap.

The blue light seems to flash for a long time on my tap after making a drink on my Zip HydroTap?

Often this means that the system isn’t as efficient as it could be. A couple of quick checks can help.

The filter screen can be cleaned by gently brushing off the dust or running it under some 
cool water. Also make sure nothing is blocking any vents. If you are unable to dispense chilled water and the blue light is still flashing, please check the command centre for a system fault message displayed as you may need to arrange an engineer by contacting us via this Support Form and raising a ticket.
